Become a Member of Cape Cod Rowing
When you choose to join CCR as a member, you become part of our rowing community. Our membership encompasses those who have just learned to row to veteran oarsmen, 18 year olds to septuagenarians, year-round, part-time residents, and those visiting the Cape for a brief vacation.
As a CCR member, you gain access to our fleet of boats and all available rowing equipment. Because we are a member-run organization, you also have the opportunity to elect and/or serve as an officer of the club.
All members (full and seasonal) are expected to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours annually by serving on committees, at special events and/or work parties, as needed by the club.
CCR is dedicated to protecting the health and safety of our members, as Covid-19 infections continue to be a global concern. All members are expected to adhere to the state, local and club Covid protocols, in addition to our safety expectations.

Intermediate Coached Rowing
Every Wednesday and Friday, May 1 to August 31 at 5:30-7:00am
Whether you’ve just completed a Learn to Row clinic and would like to continue developing your skills, or have been sculling for years and want to fine tune some aspects of your stroke, think of intermediate coaching as supportive continuing education.
A learned eye can spot minor problems that you can remedy in order to help you feel more comfortable in any type of rowing boat, make balancing a narrow racing shell easier, and allow you to attain the speed over the water you’re capable of reaching. Coaches strive to explain both the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ so you understand the benefits of making changes, then learn the best way to reach your goals.
Intermediate Coached Rowing program fee: $125 + CCR membership
Cape Cod Rowing offers our summer visitors the opportunity to row with experienced masters during non-coached sessions on a daily or weekly basis depending on skill level and boat availability. Prior safety orientation, signed waiver and payment are required.
Guest fees are $20/day, payable before row on Pay Pal. Please email us at CCRowingInfo@gmail.com two weeks prior to your visit and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Fee is forfeited if you cancel within 48 hours.
Donations are always appreciated! We have recently instituted a program for financial assistance, and welcome contributions to enable enthusiastic rowers with fewer resources to join us.
