Girls

The Varsity Girls Team has between 30-50 participants and they practice on the water five days a week with racing on one weekend day in both sculling and sweeping boats. The girls work hard but they always seem to be enjoying themselves. On and off the water they all show great teamwork and never leave a team mate behind. Our club is very proud of the girls' accomplishments and the future that they have established for themselves.

Join them now for the upcoming season!

We have 3 basic seasons: Spring, Summer and Fall

Spring Season
March - May
Spring is sprint season, where we race in 2000m
key regattas include our own Home Regatta, the Lowell Invitational and NEMA (Nationals qualification).
We will spend March indoors on the ergs and then move out onto the water (weather dependent) in late March. Regattas are every weekend in May.

Summer Season
July - August

Summer season we run a skills development camp - where the emphasis is on..... skills! We row 3 times per week for 18 sessions, many of which are spent sculling. We have a great compliment of coaching staff with many current college rowers and coxswains making for a very valuable experience.

Fall Season
September - November
Fall brings Head Race season with races as long as 3.6 miles or 5.8km.
Last year, 3 of our girls raced in 3 events on the same day
for a total of 21.5 miles
Key races in fall include:
Textile River Regatta, Head of the Charles and Head of the Fish (NY).
Regattas are every weekend in October.
