Text Box: Summer Skills Development Camp 2008
July 7th - August 15th. M/W/F 7:00 am to 8:30 am
Cape Cod Rowing's Summer Skills Development Camp is open to Middle School, High School and College Rowers who have previous rowing experience and are serious about improving their rowing. The six week long program will include a mix of sculling and sweep rowing as well as mixing boys and girls in boats together. Each rower will receive individual video analysis of their performance and progress.
Generally speaking, the weather is warm, the water is flat - and with emphasis on bladework rather than strength, rower's technique improves tremendously.

Head Coach:- Guy Monseair
Guy is the CCR Girl's Varsity Coach for the past 2.5 years and this is his third time leading the summer program. Guy has 7 years coaching experience including working with teams in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Assistant Coach:- Katie Donnelly
Katie is a former CCR rower and is now the first boat coxswain for Holy Cross College. When the program starts, Katie will have just returned from competing in England at the Royal Henley Regatta. Katie brings with her a wealth of rowing and coaching experience.
Guest Coach:- Sarah Bishop (South Africa)
Sarah Bishop became a friend of CCR when our first touring party travelled to SouthAfrica in 2007. Her family hosted two of our girls and her mother, Rose helped coordinate both our 2007 and 2008 tours. Sarah is a remarkable rower, having won medals in national championships in singles, doubles and the quad at U14 / U15 /U16 and open age groups.
The cost of the program is $165 which includes a season summary DVD and T Shirt. It is understood that families may be traveling during the summer - missed practice for family travel is accepted, skipping practices because you over slept or want to go to the beach, is not. Participants may be excused from the program, without refund - if their attendance or attitude is sub standard.
