Learn-to-Row

Rowing is a sport steeped in tradition.  One of the most time honored of these traditions is that 'all are welcome', for it is hard to predict just whom will take to this grand endeavor.  Many seek to escape the stair masters for a workout on the water under a summer's sky.  Others are drawn to the sports beauty, in fact many believe that those that approach the sport as a dance attain mastery more quickly.  Others are attracted to the camaraderie and all the rewards that come with being a part of a team.  Still others seek the intangibles that are learned of oneself whenever someone tries to do something new or tries to do something better.  Or, maybe you just saw a boat row by from the beach and wondered what it was all about.  Whatever draws  you to wonder is worth pursuing.

As a Adult Learn-to-row member, you will benefit from enthusiastic coaching and support from our membership. The Learn-to-Row consists of eight two hour sessions. The program usually starts in the first week of June.

Our 2008 Adult Learn to Row Program will be held on weekends starting Saturday, July 12th through Sunday, August 3rd. It is an eight session, four week, program which is held both Saturday from 7:15 am to 8:45 am and Sunday from 6:30 am to 8:45 am.  The cost of the program is $195

Sessions take place on Lake Wequaquet at the town beach on Shoot Flying Hill Rd in Centerville, MA.
