It promises to be a great day of competition for all!

Who, Where, When

Rowers and non-rowers are encouraged to participate as we have events and categories sure to please all!  Races will be visible on projection so this is a great event for spectators!

The event will be held in the cafeteria at Cape Cod Community College off of Route 132 in West Barnstable, MA on Sunday, January 29, 2012.  Doors open at 10:00 am with races starting at 11:30 pm.

Events

The premier event is the 2,000 meter race. In addition, we are offering a Quad Relay race and Double Relay race where you may choose any participants to "make up a boat" and simultaneously row 500 meters against quad or double boat - this is particularly great for someone who may not want to be out there on their own. Lastly, we will run 500 meter sprint races.

Prizes and Awards

Prizes and awards will be given for top finishers! This event is also being listed on the Concept2 website and race results will be included in Concept2's world wide ranking. CCR parents and Masters are going to provide complimentary drinks and healthy energy food for all participants!

Registration

Registration Fee is $20.00 and you can participate in as many races as you would like to enter. If all you want to do is the 500 individual sprint, the cost is $10.00. ***The first FIVE entrants will receive a free tee-shirt!

Walk-ins are allowed on race day, but pre-registration is highly suggested so we can ensure a smooth race day for all.

Please register and pay on Regatta Central, click on the Regattas tab, choose Cranberry Crunch and sign up for your event(s). Regatta Central deadline is Saturday, January 28th.

In order to set up the various heats, we will require date of birth and if you are registering for a lightweight category, your weight. [Leightweight category: 165 lbs max for men, 135 lbs max for women, weigh-ins are required on the actual race day].
