Lowell Invitational Regatta
5/08/10
We
will be traveling up to Lowell
this weekend to race in the Lowell Invitational Regatta. The
kids will be traveling up in a bus as a team. Having parents come to
cheer and support the kids is just as important as the team bonding together on
the bus. We have shied away from the team traveling on the
bus because we found that it brought you, the parents up to watch.
I know it is a long day but the board of directors and the coaches truly
know that the kids and the coaching staff greatly appreciate having
you at the races... in addition to your cheers and annoying cow bell ringing,
you take care of thing that the coaching staff really do not have time too do,
i.e. food/cooking, tent setup/break down. There isn't anything better
than having a great support crew.
·
The weather may or may not
be the greatest so please have your child pack extra clothes to wear.
·
Have your child at the
Exit 6 Burger King at 5:45 am
for a 6:00am. sharp
departure. (Parents are encouraged to car pool and to follow the bus up)

$45 RACE FEE for the 3
day rowers
These fees help cover the cost of the entry fees, bus, and the truck
and trailer. You can pay the day of the
race when you drop your child off at Burger King or on Regatta Central.
